20天用Excel背完了GRE所有单词?
一、GRE单词的特殊性
GRE 大部分的单词，以认识为主，这个“大部分”可以达到95%。这种特性决定了记单词方法绝不同于以往被四六级或是托福雅思词汇的模式。特别是四六级单词有认、写、用三个维度的要求。而GRE单词基本只有“认”这一个维度。针对这种模式，我想把一下一些TIPS分享给大家。
二、背GRE单词的几个误区
1, 1+1=2?
很多人总觉得每次背一个小时分两次背，和一次背两个小时的效果是一样的。其实完全不同。要明确一个问题，我们知道背单词是一个不断重复的过程，重在“重复”，而不是单个单词的持续时间。
举个例子，一个单词如encyclopedia (百科全书)，你今天看了一个小时，然后在接下去的一周，你不去看它，和你把这个单词，今天只看了10秒，在今后的一个礼拜，你每天看他一次，那种效果更好?
2, 备考时间越长效果越好?
很多人觉得GRE单词难，为了更好记住，就把战线拉的很长。个人认为，这种做法不可取。一是战线过长很容易造成疲惫期，二是战线过长导致前面的单词遗忘率很高。所以建议短战线集中火力攻破单词。其实一天200个已经算正常速度了，我当时一天能达到300+。
有时候得对自己狠一点，21天可以形成一个良好的习惯，背单词也是如此，可以给自己定一个目标，达成之后给一些奖励，慢慢你会发现，其实你爱上了背单词。
三，背单词量和复习过程
我自己在背GRE的时候，每天生词300+，然后保持一天三个小时左右的时间量。这个大家自己可以根据所要背得单词量所调整，但切记，战线不要太长!
我发现，不管每次自己背了多少单词，记忆的百分比是差不多的，第一次可能全部刷完之后，达到30%左右，已经很好了。所以，要不断重复，重复重复再重复，加强记忆!如果一个单词不能瞬间反应出意思，则这个单词相当于没记住。
下面是一个时长30天的背词计划，按照《要你命3000》词汇书规划，每天两个List。我觉得很有用，如果每天严格执行，词汇量一定会有质的飞跃。至于细化到每一天应该怎么背我后面会说。
四、背GRE单词工具推荐
1, 便利贴&一面墙
在背单词初期，我选择把不记得的词用粗记号笔写很大写在便利贴上，把便利贴贴在房间的墙上，一抬头就可以看见的地方。一个月下来，那面墙密密麻麻贴满了便利贴，不得不说，这种重复记忆的方法真的很有用!
具体操作：
我每天大概有4个小时是花在单词上的，但是会分成四次。是1.5+0.5+.5+0.5这样的模式。我的宗旨是，少时多次，事实证明很有用，这比一次背两三个小时有用很多。根据注意力集中曲线，这也是很科学的。
一大早起床先进行一个半小时的单词学习，每个单词用心去记，注意词根词缀，大概记200个单词左右。
等上午学习结束(或者下午学习开始之前)，花一小时再认真把这200个词过几遍，这一次肯定还会有很多词记不得，没关系，着重去记这些比较模糊的词。
下午学习结束后，去健身之前，我会再花一个小时巩固，这第三轮下来基本可以做到无障碍。
晚上睡觉前再看一遍，这一边用扫视，迅速地扫一遍发现都认识，ok那么关灯睡觉，还有不认识的，那么便利贴就登场了!
2, Excel
后期可用Excel迅速过单词。
一手按在数字上，一手按在【↓】键上。会的单词空着，不认识就按1
过完后对该列排序，选择降序
那些经常不懂的单词就会排在前面
如果想要乱序背单词的话，也可以用Excel。
下拉到全部单词，然后点击排序所有单词就会乱序排列
五，背GRE单词常用方法
1, 词根，词缀记忆
我主推的是词根，词缀记忆其实单词和汉字一样拥有自己的偏旁部首，很多词根词缀可以记住单词的褒贬义，这对于感情色彩题很好用，尤其在GRE中。知道词的正负性对做题很有帮助，起码一半的词汇题可以迎刃而解。把拥有相同词根词缀的词放在一起记，可以提高记词效率且不易混淆，这是目前为止我认为最科学的记忆方式。
例如 ：monopoly 垄断，mono-这个词缀就有单一的意思，比如monotomous,单调的意思，还有monograph 专著，"-graph"也是一个词根表示“记录的东西”，有这个又可以有一系列以graph为词根的单词，如photograph 有照片的意思，含有“记录”意思。
通过上面的例子，可以看出单词其实也和汉字一样，美妙且有趣。
2, 联想记忆法(胡编乱造记忆法)
这个方法，在某种阶段的确有用。也是xdf某派别老师一直推崇的。但在我看来，这种方法只适用于单词启蒙阶段，把一个单词弄得支离破碎，只知其长相，不知道来源，很不科学。而背单词应该是一个系统且整体的过程，因此我并不推荐它。
3, 分类记忆
托福雅思考试中，我们经常把单词分为听力阅读写作口语场景词来记忆。但GRE会有一些差别，因为单词都比较高大上，口语和写作中很难用得上(大神除外，用上必然是加分项)，所以只要做到认识即可。我建议按V和Q分类记忆，可以先背V，具体打乱背，或是按照词汇和阅读分类，就看个人喜好了。Q可以等临近考试准备开始刷数学时在集中时间背。
